The Warning Signs of Depression
1. Feeling sad, moody, or
"blue" (this may include crying spells, anxiety, agitation,
irritability)
2. Losing interest or pleasure in activities you usually
enjoy.
3. Difficulty thinking clearly or concentrating;
trouble with memory
4. Fatigue, loss of energy.
5. Inappropriate feelings of guilt or remorse.
6. Increased physical activity and restlessness.
7. Loss or reduction of sex drive.
8. Not being able to sleep, sleeping too much, or difficulty
sleeping.
9. Poor appetite and significant weight loss, or increased
appetite and significant weight gain.
10. Thoughts of death or suicide or actual suicide plans or
attempts.
